ORDINANCE N0. 596
AN ORDINANCE providing the owners
on lateral sewers and not included in
may connect therewith upon payment of
connection fee, and defining "Lateral
of houses and property abutting
a Local Improvement District,
a One Hundred (a00.00) Dollar
Sewers".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: That the term "Lateral Sewer" is defined as any sewer,
not a trunk sewer, serving more than one residence and connecting
said residence to another lateral sewer or a trunk sewer.
Section 2: That the owner of any house or property abutting upon
a Lateral Sewer, who has not paid an assessment for or been
included in a Local Improvement District, and who desires to
make connection therewith, shallbe privileged to do so, and
shall agree to pay to the City of Edmonds for such connection
and for subsequent use of said Lateral Sewer the sum of One
Hundred (q$100.00) Dollars.
Section 3: That if and when said house or property is included
in a Local Improvement District for an extension of Sewer, said
One hundred ($100.00) Dollars so paid shall be credited against
amount assessed to said property, provided, however, the Three ($3.00)
Dollar inspection fee required by Ordinance No. 313, Second
Paragraph of Section Three (3) thereof mustbe paid in addition to
the One Hundred ($100.00) Dollar connection fee.
