A. n Ordinance annexing certain real property to the City of Edmonds,
under the provisions of the laws of 1945, Chapter 128, P.P.C. Sections 384-31
through 38.1-41, and complying with the procedure therein set forth.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition in writ-
ing, signed by the owners of more than sevent- -five per cent (75%) of the assessed
value of the said property, according to th- assessed valuation of the real property
described in said petition; that the said petition set forth a legal description of the
said real property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or di awing out
lining the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That /� /$09 was set as a date for a public hearing
on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the Edmonds
Tribune Review, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Edmends that
notice of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places Within the territory
proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time and place of such hear-
ing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of
the annexation; that the expense of publication and posting of said notices was borne
by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the following described property located in the County of
Snohomish, State of Washington, to wit:
That portion of Section 24, Township 27 N., Range 3, E. W. M.,
lying contiguous to the City of Edmonds, and described as follows:
Tract 16 of Puget Sound Machinery Depot 5 Acre Tracts, accord-
ing to plat thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington,
be, and it hereby is annexed to the City of Edmonds effective the _ /G zll( day of
1954.
