AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF SECOND
AVENUE DEEDED TO "TNE CITY OF EDMONDS UNDER AUDITOR'S
FILE NO. 659039, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at the intersection of the ;tort' boundary and the center-
line of the original right-of-way described under said Auditor's
File No. 659039; thence along said north bounda.y N 89 deg. 56'50"
W 22.92 feet to the intersection of the . esterly margin of said
Second Avenue; thence along said margin S 29 deg. 18'00" W 339.07
feet to a point on a curve, the center of which bears S 47 deg.
12' 16" E 362.37 feet; thence along said curve, to the right an arc
distance of 19.75 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence along
a curve to the left, the center of ,chich bears N 44 deg. 04'56' W
357. 13 feet, an arc distance of 94. 15 feet to a point of tangency;
thence N 30 deg. 48'48" E 242. 13 feet; thence N 89 deg. 56'50" W
T. 25 feet to the pcint of beginning.
WHEREAS, the owners of 100Yo of the private property abutting
upon the portion of Second Avenue, hereinafter described, in the City of
Edmonds, duly filed their petition W itit the City Council of the City of
Edmonds, praying for the vacation of the said portion of Second Avenue,
on January 18, 1955, and
WHEREAS, the said Council of the said City did, by resolution
duly adopted on the 18th day of January, 1955, set the 15th day of February,
1955, at the hour of 8 o'clock P. M. of said day, for the hearing and de-
termination of said petition, and,
WHEREAS, du and legal notice of the time and place of hearing
and the determination of said petition has been duly given by the City Clerk
as required by lay., and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council th-'t the said petition
should be granted ana the said Council does hereby determine to vacate th.
said portion of Second Avenue, ,:ere'aafter described, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the portion of Second Avenue deeded to the City
of Edmonds under Auditor's File No. 659039, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the north boundary and the
centerline of the original right-of-way described under said
Auditor's File No. 659039; thence along said north boundary
N 89 deg. 56'50" W 22. 92 feet to the intersection of the
westerly margin of said Second Avenue; thence along said
margin S 29 deg. 18'00" W 339.07 feet to a point on a curve,
the center of which bears S 47 deg. 12'16" E 362.37 Ceet; thence
along said curve, to the right an arc distance of 19. 75 feet to
a point of reverse curvature; thence along a curve to the left,
the center of which bears N 44 deg. 04'56" W 357. 13 feet, an
arc distance of 94.15 feet to a point of tangency; thence N

be and the same is hereby vacated, and the title to the land in the said portion
of Second Street, hereinbefore described, is hereb declared to rest in the
