AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY Of
EDMONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1915 CHAPTER
12iz RCW SECTIONS 35. 13. 13u, 35. 13. 140 AND 36. 13. 150, AND COMPLY-
ING WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: - That there has been filed wi to the City Council a
petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent (75%)
of the assessed value of the said property according to the assessed valuation of
the real property described in said petit ion; that the said petition sets forth a
legal description of the said real property; that the said petition was accompanied
by a plat or drawing outlinti.o the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2; - That Tuesday, January 3, 1956, was set as a date
for a public hearing on said petition; tat notice of such hearing has been published
in t e Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in the City
of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in tnree (3) public places
within the territory proposed for annexation; that said noti ces specified the time
and place of such nearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice
approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of publi cation and
posting of said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3: - That the following described property located in the
County of Snonomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
All of the plat of Puget Sound Machinery Depot
5 Acre Tracts. according to the plat thereof ,
recorded in Volume 5 of plats, page 47, records
of Snohomish County, Washington, including the
replat of Vi ewlaud Heights, LESS Tract 16 t hereof.
TOGETHER with all of the NE 1/4 of t ne SE 1/4
of Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 3 East,
W. M. ,

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the 3rd day
of January. 1956.
