AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS. UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1545 CHAPTER
128 RCW SECTIONS 35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 140 and 35. 13. 150,AND COMPLYING
WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH.
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: - That there has been filed with the City Council
a petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent
(75%) of the assessed value of the said property according to the assessed
valuation of the real property described in said petition; that the said peti-
tion sets forth a legal description of the said real property; that tie said
petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of
the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2: - That Tuesday, March 20, 1956 was set as a date
for a public ilea •ing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been pub-
lished in the Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three
(3) public places within the territory proposed for annexation, that said notices
specified the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to
appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; t hat the expense
of publication and posting of said notices was born by the signers of the
petit ion.

Section 3: - That t.3e fol lowing described property located in
the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to wit:
All that portion of the Wist 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 25,
Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said West 1/2 of the NE 1/4
of Section 25, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M. ; t nence
West to a point 680 feet East of the Northwest corner of aforesaid
NE 1/4 of Section 25; thence South 100 feet; thence West 80 feet;
thence South 248 feet; thence West 120 feet; thence South 40 feet;
thence West, along the Southerly margin of the plat of Albert B.
Lord's Grandview Addition to the Town of Edmonds, according to
the plat taereof recorded in Volume 7, page 45 of Plats, records

of Saohornish County, Washington, to the west margin of the
NE 1/ i of Section 25; t hence South to a poin' 30 feet nortu of
the Southwest corner of said NE 1/4 of Section 25; thence East
along the north margin of County Road to the east margir, of
said West 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 25; thence North 2624
ieet more or less, to t he true point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effe. tive the 20th
