ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN HEAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF 'I HE LAWS OF 1945, CHAPTER
128 RCW SECTIONS 35. 13.130, 35. 13. 140 and 35.1 3. 150, AND COMPLYING
NITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C'TY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition
in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the
assessed value of the said property according to the assessed valuation of the
real property described in said petition; that the said petition sets forth a le-
gal description o.' the said property; that the said petition was accompanied
by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of the propert y sought to be an-
nexed.
Section 2. That �� �, , 1956, was set
as a date for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of sun hearing has
been published in the E(.monds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general rir--
culation in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in
three (3) public places within the territ ory propsed for annexation; that said
notices specified the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons
to appear and voice appro al or disapproval of the annexation; that he expense
of publication, tnd posting of said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the follnwin, described property located in the County
