PROCEDULE THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CIT: COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF EDI.WDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council
a petitior in writinf, signed by the owners of more than 75% of the as-
ssessed vai..e of the said property accord! - to the assessed valuation
of the realjr operty described in the said petition; that the said peti-
tion sets forth a legal description of the said property; that the said
petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries
of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday, December 18, 1956, was set as a date
for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has
been published in the Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was
also posted in three (3) public places within the property proposed
for annexation; t..at said notices specified the time and place of such
hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or
disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of publication and
posting of such notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section_ 3: That the following described property, located in
the County, of Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
That portion of Blocks 5,o and 7, Plat of Alderwood Manor No.
9, and Government Lot 2, Sec. 30, Twp. 27 North, Range 4 EWM, lying
cont'guous to the City of Edmonds, located in Snohomish County, Wash-
ington, and described as follows:
Lots 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in Block 5; Lots 1, 2 and 3 in
Block 6, and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and the East 118 feet of the North 239
feet of Lot 5, Lot 6, and the North half of Lot 16, all of Block 7,
Alderwood Manor :o. 9; TOGETHER with the North half,. Northwest quar-
ter of Govt. Lot 2, and the North 15 feet of the South half of West
half of Northwest quarter of Government Lot 2, Sec.30, Twp 27 ': R 4 EWM
be and the same is hereby annexted to the City of Edmonds, effective
