AN ORDINANCE INNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, UNDLR THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945, CHAPTER 128,
RCW Section s 35. 13.130, 35.13. 140 and 35.13, 150, AND COMPl ZING WITH
THE PROCED. RE THEREIN SET FORTH.
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition in
writing signed by the owners of more than 75% of the a, sessed value of the said
property according to the assessed valuation of the real property described in
the said pet tion; that the said petition sets forU. a legal description of the said
property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining
the boundaries of the property sot ;ht to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesda), August 27, 1957, was set as a date for a public
hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the
Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in :.he City of
Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was a' ;o posted in three (3) public places
within the property proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time
and jAace of such hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice ap-
proves, or disapproval of the anni-xation; that the expense of publication and posting
of such notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the :ollowing described property, located in the Coto `y of
Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
All of howe's Addition, according to plat thereof recorded in vol 15 of plats, page
14, records of said County; All of Wickstrom's Addition, according to plat there-
of recorded in vol 13 of Flats, page 106, records of said County; Lits 1, 5 and 6
. in Block 4, Alderwood Manor No. 9, said County: Lits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15,
16, 17, 18 and that portion of Lot 19 lying westerly of the road, in Block 5, Alder -
wood Manor No. 9, toge-ter with the road adjacent thereto, said County: The West
466. 62 feet of the north half of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of
section 30, township 27 north, range 4 East, W. M., said County
