AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESS-
MENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 79 FOR THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: SECOND AVE. NORTH
FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF CASPAR STREET, WHERE IT INTERSECTS WITH
SAID SECOND AVENUE NORTH, THENCE SOUTHERLY ALONG SECOND AVE.
NORTH TO A POINT WHERE THE SAID SECOND AVE. NORTH INTERSECTS
WITH EDMONDS STREET, IN THE CITY" OF EDMONDS, BY THE CONSTRUCTION
• OF CURBS AND BLACK TOP SURFACING AND SUCH OTHER WORK AS MAY BE
NECESSARY TO MAKE A COMPLETE STREET IMPROVEMENT; FURTHER PRO-
VIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PORTION OF SECOND AVE. NORTH
RUNNING THROUGH SUNSET ADDITION AND BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY LOTS
1, 2, 3, and 4 AND ON THE EAST BY LOTS 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 OF WICK-
STROM'S SUNSET ADDITION TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, INSTALLED ACCORDING TO CITY SPECI-
FICATIONS AND OTHER SUCH WORK AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO MAKE A
COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT; ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH PETITION AND WITH
ORDINANCE NO. 693 OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON; LEVYING AN
ASSESSMEN ON ACCOUNT THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS, TRACTS
AND PARCELS OF LAND AS SHOWN a4 SAID ROLL; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSU-
ANCE OF BONDS THEREFOR AND FIXING THE DATE OF THE ISSUANCE THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement
District No. 79 for the improvement of the following described property:
Beginning at a point on the north margin of Edmonds Street, 136 feet
northwesterly from the northwest corner of Third Ave. and Edmonds St. in
the City of Edmonds; thence northwest along said N margin 239 feet; thence
N 32027100" E 120.77 feet; thence N 55018' W 60.66 ft; thence N 32021135" E.
144. feet; thence S 513032'20" E 57.93 feet; thence N 31028'40" E., along
the West boundary of plat of Sunset Addition, and said bouhdary produced,
a distance of 430.92 feet; thence Northwestei iy 40 ft more or less to a line
parallel with and 120 feet northwesterly from (as measured at right angles)
the West margin of 2nd Ave; thence Northeasterly along said parallel line
to the South margin of the plat of Morse Add'n; thence W to the SW corner of
Lot 4, said Morse Add'n; thence northeasterly to the NW corner of Lot 7,
Morse Add'n; thence S 89039' East 25. 26 feet; thence N 30028'50" E 15 feet;
thence East 59.97 feet; thence North 135 feet to the S margin of Caspar Street;
thence along Caspar Street East 235 feet; thence South 135 feet; thence
East 9.28 fee. to the Northeast corner of lot 8, Morse Addition; thence
Soith 29018' West to the southeast corner of lot 11, Morse Addition; thence

thence southwesterly along the lot lines to the southeast corner of lot

by the construction of curbs and black top surfacing and such other work as may
be necessary to make a complete street improvement, and further that that por-
tion of the said Second Avenue North lying within Wickstrom's Sunset Addition,
and bounded on the west by lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and on the east by lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,
10 and 11 of the said Wickstrom's Sunset Addition be further improved by the

stands, be and the same ,y in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land or other proper-
ty shown on said Roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improve-
ment in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment ap-
pearing against the same is in proportion to the se.eral assessments appearing
upon said Roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each lot, tract
and parcel of land and other prop+ -ty appearing upon said Roll in the amount
finally charged against the same thereon.
Section 3. That the �,< day of 1957, is hereby
fixed as the date of the issuance of the Bonds required to be issued on account of
said improvement.
