AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF TENTH AVENUE LYING BETWEEN BELL STREET AND ED&IONDS STREET, CIT1 OF EDMONDS, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEF.EOF, RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON. WHEREAS, the owners of 100% of the private property abutting upon that • portion of Tenth Avenue lying between Bell Street and Edmonds Street in the City of • Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, duly filed petition with the City Council of the City of Edmonds, praying for the vacation of the said portion of Tenth Avenue, on the 17th day of September , 1957, and WHEREAS, the said Counc.1 of the said City did, by resolution duly adopted on the 17th dayof September , 1957, set the 15:h day of October , 1957, at the hour of 8:00 p. m. of said day, for the hearing and determination on said petition, and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of hearing and the determination on said petition has been duly given by the City Clerk as required by law, and WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that the said petition should be granted, and the said City Council does hereby determine to vacate that portion of Tenth Avenue lying between Bell Street and Edmonds Street, City of Edmonds, according to plat thereof, records of Snohomish County, State of Washington, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: Section 1: That that portion of Tenth Avenue lying between Bell Street and Edmonds Street,`City of Edmonds, according to plat thereof, records of Sno- homish County, State of W.shington, be and the same is he"eby vacated, and the title to the land in the said portion of Tenth Avenue, hereinbefore described, is hereby declared to vest in the owners of the abutting property.
