AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF ED-
MONDS, WASHINGTON, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945,
CHAPTER 128 RCW SECTIONS 35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 140, and 35. 13. 150, AND
COMPLYING WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petit ion in writing
signed by t::e owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the assessed value
of the said property according to the assessed valuation of the real property
described in said oetition; that Lie said petition sets forth a legal description of
the said property; that the said petit ton was accompanied by a plat or drawing out-
lining tue boundaries of the property sought t o be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday, December 17, 1957, was set as a date for a public
hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the
Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in tee City of Ed-
monds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places within
tn. territory proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time and
place of such nearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval
or disapproial of the annexation; that the expense of publication and posting of
said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section :1. That the following described property, located in the County of
Snohomisn, State of Washington, to -wit:

The north 145 feet of tract 14, less Lie east 200 feet t.cereof; all of
tract 15, and tract 16 less the west 224 feet of the north 272 feet Lcereof;
all in Fourtner's Homestead Plat , according to plat t hereof recorded
in volume 1 of plats, page 97, records of Snohomish County, Washing-
ton; TOGETHER with Lie portion of 220th Street and 96th Avenue West
adjacent thereto; situate in Snohomish County, Washington,
be and t .e same is hereby annexed t o the City of Edmonds, effective the
day of !e
