AN CRDINaNCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REi-.L PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE L.WS OF 1945, CH,&PTER 1�8, RCW Sections
_35.13.130, 35.13.140 and 35.13.150, ;;ND COMPLYING WITH THE PROCE-
DURE THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BONDS DOES ORDhIN:
�\ Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council
a petition in writing signed by the owners of more than 75$ of the
assessed value of the said property according to the assessed valuation
of the real property described in the said petition; that the said
petition sets forth a legal description of tae said property; that
the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the
boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday, May 20, 1958, was set as a date
for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing
has been published in the Edmonds -Tribune -Review, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hear-
ing was also posted in three (3) public -laces within the property
proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time and
place of such hearing and invited persons interested to appear and
voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense
of publication and posting of such notices was born by the signers
of the petition.
Section 3. That the following described property, located
in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
Tracts 1, 2, and the West 224 feet of the North 302 feet of
Tract 16, Fourtner's Homestead Plat, according to the plat
thereof, recorded in volume 1 of plats, page 97, records
of Snohomish County, including 220th St. S.W., 100th Ave.
W. and 98th Ave. W. adjacent thereto, situate in Snohomish
County;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective
the', day of Nay, 1958. (` %
