Ordinance 897ORDINANCE NO. -) C AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN Pr)RTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, MORE SPECIFICALLY OFFICIAL MAP "Al "AND `B1" (DESIGNATED THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) OF SAID CITY, TO INCORPORATE THE ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE SAID CITY, ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION • FOR SUCH ZONING, AND AUTHORIZING THE ENGINEER TO EFFECT NECESSARY ------------------- ------ CHANGES. ----------------------------- WIiEREAS, on August 15, 1961, the City Council of the City of Edmonds pass- ed Ordinance No. 892 of said City, annexing certain real property to the City, and WHEREAS, such property is in need of zoning, and • 1 WHEREAS, certain recommendations for such zoning have been made by the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, and WHEREAS, the zoning of the property will require an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds, Wa shingtnn, and WHEREAS, after a full and complete hearing before the Planning Commis- sion of the City of Edmonds, said Planning Commission did by Resolution No. �- recommend to the City Council of the City of Edmonds the zoning of the said property into use districts as hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1_ That the property to be zoned is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of the Edmonds Corporate Limits, said point being the SE corner of Lot 92, Edmonds Seaview Tracts, according to recorded plat thereof; thence north and northeasterly along the easterly line of lots 92 to 68 of said plat, inclusive, to the intersection of the projection of the easterly line of lot 68 with the southwesterly line of lot 42; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of .:aid lot 42 to the SW corner thereof, thence north- easterly along the west line of lot 42 to the northwest corner thereof; thenoewesterly along the south line of lot 19, block 1, Plat of Seahurst, according to the recorded plat thereof to the SW corner of said lot 19, block 1; thence northeasterly along the easterly margin of 94th Ave. West to the most southe-ly corner of lot 10, block 1, Plat of Seahurst; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of lots 10 to 16 inclusive to the southeast corner of said lot 16, block 1; thence north along the east line of lot 16 to the southerly ma rgin of Olympic View Drive; thence north- easterly along the south margin of Olympic View Drive to the northwest corner of Lot 16, Dobson Park, according to the plat thereof; thence south 111.88 feet to the southwest corner thereof; hence east 80 feet; thence north 146. 5 feet to the southerly margin of Olympic View Drive; thence easterly along said southerly margin to an intersection with the north -south centerline of section 18; thence north to the north quarter corner, thence north along the centerline of section 7, twp.27 NR 4 EWM, to the NW corner of the south half of the southeast quarter of said section, also being a point on the south line of Talbot Park, acco; :sing to the recorded plat thereof, thence easterly along the south line of Talbot Park and the north line of the south h.if of the southeast quzrter of said section 7 to a point of said north line produced eaa,t with tae intersection of the east margin of 76th Ave. West; thence northerly along the e:.st margin of 76th Ave. West to its intersection with the north line of Tract 92, Plat of Meadowdale Beach according to the recorded plat thereof; thence westerly along the production of the north line of said tract 92 to the west line of section 8, twp. 27 NR 4 EWM; thence north along said west line of section 8 to the NW corner thereof; thence northwesterly to the NE corner of lot 22, Plat of Meadowdale Tidelands, according to the recorded plat thereof, thence westerly along the north line of said • Lot 22 to the NW corner of said lot 22; thence southwesterly along the west line of said plat to the SW corner the: eof; thence easterly along the south line of said plat to the NW corner of Tideland Lot 2, Edmonds Tidelands, in Sec. 7, Twp 27 NR 4 EWM; thence southwesterly along the westerly line of Edmonds Tidelands to the North line • of the State Harbor Area in Government Lot 2, Sec. 13, Twp. 27 NR 3 EWM; thence E 165 feet along said N line to the Government Meander Line; thence southwesterly • along the Government Meander Line to an intersection with the Inner Harbor Line in Government Lot 3, Sec. 13, Twp 27 NR 3 EWM; thence southwesterly along the State Inner Harbor Line to existing Edmonds corporate limits; thence southeasterly, easterly, northerly and s .itherly along the existing Edmonds corporate limits to the point of beginning; LESS the following described parcel: Commencing at the east quarter corner of section 7, township 27 North, Range 4 East, W. M., and proceeding thence along the centerline of 76th Ave. West (also known as Meadowdale Road) North 1011145" East 602.27 feet to the true pointdbeginning; thence north 61033110` west 22.50 feet to the point of inter- section of the westerly line of 76th Avenue West and the southwesterly line of Brown's Point Road (also known as Bertola Road) as recorded under Auditor's file No. 733197; thence northwesterly, northerly and northeasterly along the southwesterly, westerly and northwesterly line of said Brown's Point Road, with the following courses, curves and distances: North 61033'10" west 198.53 feet, on a curve to the right having a radius of 120.00 feet a distance of 80.69 feet; north 23001130" west 141. 15 feet; north 9021130" west 7 6. 47 feet; bn a curve to the right having a radius of 170.00 feet a distance of 67.93 feet; north 130 32110" east 4.07 feet; thence N 89003105" W 146.80 feet; thence N 300 00' W, 139.92 feet; thence N 89003105" west, 476.72 feet to the Government Meander Line; thence southwesterly along said Government Meander Line to the south corner of Lot 2, Edmonds Tide Lands; thence northerly along west line of said Lot 2, to a point on the south line of Lot 43, `Plat of Meadowdale Tide Lands", along said south line to the westerly line of said Lot 43; thence northerly along the westerly line of lot 43 and lot 42 of said plat to the north line of said lot 42; thence easterly along said north line and the easterly projection thereof, to an intersection with • the easterly right of way line of the Great Northern Railway; thence southwesterly, along said right of way line to the north line of Govt. Lot 2, Section 7, Township 37 North, Range 4 East, W. M.; thence S 890 03105" E, along said north line to a point which is S 89003105" E, 538.90 feet from said Government Meander Line; thence S 38005'41" E, 193. 14 feet; thence N 89003105" W, 29.65 feet to a point on the easterly line of the aforementioned Brown's Point Road; thence southwesterly, southerly and southeasterly along the southeasterly, easterly, and northeasterly line of said Brown's Point Road and the projection thereof to its intersection with the centerline of 76th Ave. W.; thence south 1011145" west 45.0 feet to the true point of beginning; all in Snohomish County, Washington. Section 2. That Resolution No.,/p.' of the Edmonds Planning Commis- sion, and Engineer's Drawing No. _, three copies c.f which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though fuily set forth herein, and three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, and all of which show the zoning of the above described property, be and the same are hereby adopted. • Section 3_ That the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Edmonds as set forth in Chapter 12.04 et seq., of the Edmonds City Code, and Official Map "Al" and "Bl of said City, be and the same are hereby amended to conform to said Resolution No. of the Edmonds Planning Commission and Engineer's Drawing No.� zoning said property in use district. Section 4_ That the zoning of the real property hereinabove described into use districts as outlined in said Resolution and Engineer's map is hereby ratified and confirmed. Section 5_ That the City Engineer of the City of Edmond is hereby directed to effect the necessary changes pursuant to this Ordinance. Section 6.
