AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, MORE SPECIFICALLY OFFICIAL MAP
A-1 (DESIGNATED THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
PURSUANT TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO SAID CITY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO EFFECT SUCH CHANGES AS
A_R_E_N_E_CES_SARY.

WHEREAS, on July 16, 1963, the Pity Council of the City of
Edmonds passed Ordinance No. 1004 of said City, annexing certain real
property to the City, pursuant to annexation election held on July 2, 1963, and
WHEREAS, the comprehensive plan of the City of Edmonds should
be augmented and amended to include thereunder the property so annexed, now,
therefore,
AS FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN,
Section 1_ That Engineers' Drawing No. A-29, incorporating
the property hereinafter described within the comprehensive plan of the City
of Edmonds, as shown by the official map thereof, three copies of which draw-
ing are attached hereto and made a part hereof and incorporated herein by
reference as though fully set forth herein, and three copies of which are on
file in the office of the City Clerk, IS HEREBY ADOPTED.
Section 2_ That the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Edmonds
s et f o r t h in Chap t e r 12 . 0 4, e t seq., of the City Code of the City of
Edmonds, and Official Map "A-1" (designated the comprehensive plan) of said
City, be and the same are hereby amended to incorporate therein the follow-
ing described property, situated in Snohomish County, State of Washington,
to -wit:

Beginning at intersection of the south margin of 206th Street S. W, and west
margin of 76th Ave. W., said point being on present City Limits of City of Edmunds;
thence east to the centerline of 76th Ave. W. on the present City Limit line of the
City of Lynnwood; thence northerly along the centerline of 76th Ave. W. to the
extended so ith margin of 199th St. S.W. ; thence west to the projected east line of
the Plat of Sandalwood No. 2, as recorded in volume 18, page 68, records of Snohomish
County, Washington; thence north along said east line to the northeast corner of said
plat; thence west along north line of said plat to the west line of the east half
• of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section
19, township 27 north, range 4 E. W. M., thence north along said west line to the center -
line of 196th St. S.W.; thence west to the extended east margin of 77th Ave. W. to the
northwest corner of lot 8, block 1 of Park Addition to Edmonds, According to the recorded
plat thereof; thence east along the north margin of said plat and the north margin extended
to the centerline of 76th Ave. W. ; thence north along centerline of 76th Ave. W. to
the extended south boundary of the plat of Meadowdale Soundview Tracts, as recorded
in volume 11, page 51, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence east along
said south boundary extended to the east margin of 72nd Ave. W.; thence easterly to
the northwest corner of Lot 9, Cherry Hill Tracts, as recorded in volume 15, page 24,
records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence east along the north boundary of said
plat and north boundary extended to the vest margin of 68th Ave. W.; thence north
along the westerly line of Olympic View Drive to an intersection with the easterly
right of way line of 68th Ave. W.; thence north along the easterly right of way
line of 68th Ave. W. to an intersection of the southerly line of Tract 116, Plat
of Meadowdale Beach extended east, thence west along the south line of tract 116 and
117 to the southwest corner of tract 117, thence north along the west lines of tracts
117 and 106 to the northwest corner of tract 106, said plat of Meadowdale Beach,
thence east along the north line of tract 106 to the northeast corner of said tract,
also being the southwest corner of tract 83. Thence north along the west line of
tract 83 to an intersection with the south line of the Meadowdale Road as it now
exists; thence southerly and easterly along the south line of the Meadowdale Road to
an intersection with the east right of way line at 68th Ave. W.; thence north along
the east line of 68th Ave. W., being the West lines of tracts 82, 74, 45, 38, 20 and
13, said plat of Meadowdale Be sch to an intersection with the north right of way line
of the Lund's Gulch Road; thence westerly along the northerly right of way line of Lund's
Gulch Road, being the southerly lines of tracts 51-52 and tract marked Reserve in the
plat of Lund's Meadowdale Tracts, to an intersection with the east right of way line
of the Great Northern Railroad Right-of-Way; thence southerly across said right of
way to an intersection with the Government Meander Line, being at the most southerly
point of Tract "A", said land's Meadowdale Tracts, thence southerly along said
Government Meander Line to the north line of Tract 1, Meadowdale Tidelands extended
east; thence west along said north line, Tract 1, to the northwest corner thereof;
thence southerly along the west line of the Plat of Meadowdale Tidelands to the north
line of Tract 22, being the present city limits of Edmonds; thence easterly and
continuing along the existing City Limits back to the point of beginning, including
• tidelands; Snohomish County, Washington
Section 3_ That the City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is
hereby directed to make the necessary changes pursuant to this Ordinance.
S e c t i on 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its pass -
age and publication according to law.
