HI °I 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE NO. 1114, ;.MENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, WHEREAS, pursuant to published and posted public notice the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, Washington, recommended the amendment of the Edmonds Comprehensive Plan by designating as commercial that property legally described below, and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City pursuant to said Resolutinn called a public hearing and adopted an Ordinance adopting said recommendation, and WHEREAS, Faid Ordinance contained a mistake in the legal description of the proporty described in the Planning Commission Resolution, now, therefore, in order to correct said Ordinance No. 1114 to conform with the published and posted notice, and Planning Commission Resolution No. 115, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1114 of the City of Edmonds, Washington, passed by the City Council of said City on the 20th day of July, 1965, bu and the same hereby is amended, by correcting the legal description therein contained, to read as follows: "Suction 3. The City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is hereby directed to effect the necessary amendment to Figure 32 of the Edmonds Comprehensive Plan pursuant to this Ordinance by designating as Commercial the following legally described property, all svtuate in the County of Snohomish, :state of Washington: That property bordered on the north by Dayton Street, on the west by Admiral Way, on the South by the Edmonds Corporate Limits, and on the East by the easterly margin of Government Lot 3, Section 23, T 27 N, R 3 E, W.M. together with that property legally described .1s follows: "All that portion of the SW quarter of SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Sec. 23, T27N, R3E, W.M., des- cribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of2nd Ave., 60 ft W of the SW corner of Lot 9, Neil's Addition, according to plat t`•ereof recorded in Vol. 16 of plats page 23, records of Snohomish County, Wash., said point being on the N. line of a tract of land conveyed to Mauritz A Wickstrom and Eunice Wickstrom, his wife, by deed recorded under auditor's file No. 1348151, thence S. 89042'W along thu North line of said WicksLL—n tract 245.65 ft., more or less, to the West line of said SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of SE 1/4; thence North 0007' West along said West line 298.88 feet; thence: North 89043'30" East to a point on the West line of 2nd Ave. as shown on the plat of said Neil's Addition, which point is 368 feet West of the West line of Third St.; thence South along the West line of 2nd St. to the point of beginning." Section 2. This Ordinance shall take full force and effect five days after its passage and publication as provided by law.
