AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1266 WHICH ORDINANCE i,.EZONED
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM RML TO BC.
• WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called
by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission
Resolution No. 201, said City Council having passed Ordinance
No. 1266 rezoning certain pr-pe rty from RML to BC, and
WHEREAS, the public hearing before said City Council
having been on the following described property, and said
property being described in Planning Commission file R-18-66
and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the legal description set
forth in Ordinance No. 1266 described a greater area than was
intended and a greater area than was the subject of the public
hearing before said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the legal description set forth in Ordinance
No. 1266 should be corrected to set forth the true property
which was the subject matter of the hearing and of the inten-
ded rezoning classification, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHIN^TON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1266, passed by the City
Council of the City of Edmonds, February 7, 1967 and pub-
lished February 15, 1967, be and the same is hereby repealed.
• Section 2. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zone classi-
fication of the following legally described property from RML
(Multiple Residential Low Density) to BC (Community Business),
all situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State
of Washington:
Thatportion of the west 150 feet of the
following described property lying east of
4th Avenue extended: Beginning at a point
60 feet south and 30 feet west of the NE
corner of Section 26, of that certain 10-acre
• tract described as the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of Section 26, Township 27 N,
Range 3 E, W.M. in Edmonds; running thence south
270 feet m/1 to the E & W center line of said
10 acres; thence west 300 feet; thence north 270
feet m/1 to a point 60 feet south of the north
line of said 10 acres; thence east 300 feet to
the Point of Beginning, less roads. Also the
west 28 feet of the following described prop-
erty; Beginning 30 feet west of the NE corner
of Section 26, Township 27 N, Range 3 E, W.M.;
thence west along the north line of said section
150 feet; thence south 60 feet; thence west 150
feet; thence north 6U feet t,the point of beginning.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendment to the Official Zoning
Map of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
