AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 12.13.110 (F) OF THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE BY MAKING PROFESSIONAL OFFICES SUBJECT
TO A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN RM ZONING DISTRICTS
• PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 227.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds pur-
suant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 227 called a
public Bearing and thereat found it to be in the best in-
terests and the public health, safety and welfare to amend
the Edmonds Zoning Crdinance as set forth below, now, there-
fore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 12.13.110
(F) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 12.13.110 Primary Uses (RM) In an RM
zone only the following primary uses are permitted and, as
hereinafter specifically provided and allowed by this section,
subject to the oifstreet parking requirements and the
general provisions and exceptions set forth in this title.
A. Multiple -family dwellings; apartte nts, cooperatives,
condominiums;
B. Any primary use permitted in the RS and RD zone, as
regulated therein;
C. Boarding and rooming house, not to exceed four per-
sons at board;
D. Fraternity and Sorority houses;
E. Municipal buildings, police and fire stations;
F. Professional offices subject to conditional use
permit grant;
G. Nursing, convalescent and rest homes; home for the
aged, sanitariums;
• 11. Ilospitals, except alcoholic, mental and penal;
I. Retirement homes."
