Ordinance 1318ORDINANCE NO. j ; / AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS* WASHINGTON* AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY ADDING THERETO CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY AND DESIGNATING THE SAME AS SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 8,000 (RS-8) AND SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 12,000 (RS-12) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 234. WHEREAS,* pursuant to public hearing having been called by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 234 and said City Council having determined that the recommended zoning for said newly annexed property would be the most consistent and advantageous for the devel- opment and appropriate use of said property and for the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the fol- lowing described property, all situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, and designating the same thereon as follows: Single Family Residential 8,000 (RS-8) : All that property bounded by and located within the following Plats: Double DD Ranch Tracts, Double DD Ranch Tracts Add. No. 2, Double DD Ranch Tracts Add. No. 3, and Hovde Heights; together with Lots 2 through 14, Plat of Squire Lane No. 5. Single Family Residential 12,000 (RS-12): All that portion of Tract 134,. Plat of Meadowdale Beach, lying west of Olympic View Drive, together with Lots 1 and 15 through 21, Plat of Squire Lane No. 5. Section 2. The City Engineer it hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendment to the Official Zoning Map of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
