Ordinance 1324ORDINANCE NO. 1 ufi g AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS* WASHINGTONO AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY ADDING THERETO CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY AND DESIGNATING THE SAME AS SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 8,000 (RS-8) AND MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RML) PUR- SUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 240. WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 240 and said City Council having determined that the recommended zoning for said newly annexed property would be the most consistent and advantageous for the devel- opment and appropriate use of said property and for the health safety, morals and general welfare of the public, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDSO WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the fol- lowing described property, all sitaute in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, and designating the same thereon as follows: (1) Single Family Residential, 8,000 (RS-_8)_: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 14, according to the Plat of Bergquist Addn., as recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, page 105, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence south 0030124" East 149.93 feet to true point of beginning;thence north 89051'23" West 151.81 feet; thence south 0019144" East 149.93 feet; thence north 89051123" West to the west line of 100th Avenue West (9th Avenue Sout.hY; thence southerly along the west right-of-way line of 100th Avenue West to the westerly extension of the south right-of-way line of 232nd St. S.W.; thence east on the south right-of-way line of 232nd S.W. to the southerly extension of the east lot line of Lot 7 of the Bergquist Addn.; thence northerly t.a.:the point of beginning, LESS the following described area: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 14, according to the Plat of Bergquist Addn., as recorded in Volume 15 of plats, page 105, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence south 0030124" East 149.93 feet to true point of beginning; thence north 89051'23" West 151.81 feet; thence south 0019144" East 149.93 feet; thence south 89051'23" east to the west line of Lot 12, Bergquist Addition; thence northerly along the west line of Lots 12 and 13 to the True Point of Beginning. Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
