AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP,
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM OPEN
SPACE (QS) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 20,000
SQUARE FEET (RS -20) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COM-
MISSION RESOLUTION NO. 285.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called
by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission
Resolution No. 285 and said City Council having determined
that the recommended zoning would be the most consistent and
advantageous for the development and appropriate use of said
property and for the health, safety, morals and general
welfare of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map* Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property from
Open Space (OS) to single family residential 20,000
(RS -20), all situate in the City of Edmonds* County of Snohomish,
State of Washington:
Beginning 30 feet west of the S.E. corner of the S.E
1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.W. 1/4; thence North 590
feet; thence West 628 feet; thence South 590 feet;
thence East to Point of Beginning. Containing 8.5
acres. Situated in Section 25, Township 27 N, Range
3 E, W.M., Snohomish County, Washington.
Section 2. The City Engineers are hereby directed
to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official
Zoning Map of Edmonds, Washington,, pursuant to this
Ordinance.
