THE EDMs S CITY CODE, SECTIONS 6.16.060 AND
6.20.020.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, INGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLL
Section 1 The Edmonds City Code, Section 6.16.060,
is hereby amended to read, as follows:
"6.16.060 Accounts - yments. All accounts shall be
kept on the books of the water department in the
n of the owner, or his authorized agent or lessee,
and all charges shall be '.-de against the property
as well as the owner thereof. No change of owner-
ship or occupancy shall affect the application of
this section. All bills are payable within ten
days from the billing date. Flat rates are payable
in advance. If water bills are not paid within a
stated period, the water a:y be shut off without notice
and an additional charge of five dollars will be
assessed and collected for turning on service when
cut off, in addition to amount of delinquent charges.'
Section 2. The Edmonds City Code, Section 6.20.020, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"6.20.020 Water rates - Meter installation charges.
The minimum monthly rates for seven hundred cubic feet
or less water supplied through meters are hereby fixed
as follows:
(a)

(d) 2" meters
(e) 3" '-ters

All water consumed in eNcess of seven hundred cubic
feet shall be an additional charge to the consumer
at the rate of twenty cents per one hundred cubic
feet.
The above rates are exclusive of taxes.
New :meter installation charges are hereby fixed as follows:
(a) 3/4" inside city limits $125.00
(b) 3/4" outside city limits 150.00
(c) 1" inside city limits 150.00
(d) 1" outside city limits 175.00
(e) All over 1" to be charged for at total actual
cost of job.
Coat of street restoration (all surfaced streets) to be
added to any meter installation charge where applicable."
