Ordinance 1974ORDINANCE NO. 1974 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING - TON, AMENDING THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED TO SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1885, PASSED ON DECEMBER 21, 1976, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1938, PASSED AUGUST 23, 1977, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1962, PASSED ON DECEMBER 6, 1977, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1966, PASSED ON JANUARY 3, 1978, BY INCREASING THE REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE STREET FUND TO COVER UNANTICIPATED INCREASES IN EQUIPMENT RENTAL CHARGES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, there have been unanticipated increases in equip- ment rental charges that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of the formation and passage of the 1977 Budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an interfund loan from the General Fund No. 001 to the Street Fund No. 111 in the amount of $12, 500 to be repaid from the Street Fund on or before December 31, 1978, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and so declares that there is an emergency necessitating the passage of this Ordinance, and WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been introduced for not less than five (5) days prior to its passage, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH- INGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1885, passed on Dec- ember 21, 1976, and the schedule attached to said Ordinance and in- corporated by reference in said Section 2, as amended by Ordinance No. 1938, passed August 23, 1977, as amended by Ordinance No. 1962, passed December 6, 1977, as further amended by Ordinance No. 1966, passed Jan- uary 3, 1978, is further amended to reflect the following changes: 1. An increase in the revenues and appropriations to and from the Street Fund No. 111 in the amount of $12, 500 for monies received from the loan from the General Fund No. 001, for the purpose of funding increased equipment rental charges, employee benefits and unforeseen charges for LID No. 203. 2. The schedule of each separate fund, the revenues estimated to be received by said fund, and the appropriations from each such fund and the aggregate total of revenues and appropriations for all of said funds is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated in full by this refer- ence. Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed and author- ized to make the necessary line adjustments and entries to reflect the transfers and appropriations set forth hereinabove in Section 1.
