AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
VACATING A PORTION OF THE TURN -AROUND ON 82ND
AVENUE WEST, SOUTH OF 200TH STREET SOUTHWEST, IN
THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, a petition to vacate a street was filed
with the City Council of the City of Edmonds, signed by the
owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon
property dedicated for street purposes, located in the City
of Edmonds, being a portion of the turn -around on 82nd
Avenue West, south of 200th Street Southwest, more particularly
described in the attached Exhibit A and incorporated herein
by this reference, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
did by Resolution No. 398 of said City duly adopted on the
2nd day of May, 1978, set the 6th day of June, 1978, at the
hour of 7:30 p.m., of said day, for the hearing and determination
on said vacation, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that said
portion of the turn -around on 82nd Avenue West, south of
200th Street Southwest, should be vacated, and the said City
Council does hereby determine to vacate the same, as hereinafter
set forth, and the City Council finding that there will be no
significant adverse environmental impacts, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described street in
the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, being a
portion of the turn -around on 82nd Avenue West, south of
200th Street Southwest, legally described in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated in full by this reference
is hereby vacated.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Snohomish
County Auditor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.

Snohomish County, Washington; thence S89°11'55"E along the south line of said
Tract 6 a distance of 103.00 feet to an intersection with a curve having a
radius of 40.00 feet, from which intersection the radius point of said curve
bears 589°11'55"E and said intersection being the true point of beginning
of this description; thence, northeasterly along the arc of said curve, being
a curve to the right and consuming a central angle of 43°20'30" an arc distanc
of 30.26 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence, northeasterly along the
arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 15.00 feet and consuming a

recorded in Volume 22 of Plats on page 69, Records of Snohomish County,
Washington; thence, N89°11'55"w along the south line of said Tract 7 a distanc.
of 127.00 feet to an intersection with a curve having a radius of 40.00 feet,
from which intersection the radius point of said curve bears N89°ll'55"W said.
intersection being the true point of beginning of this description; thence,
northwesterly along the arc of said curve, being a curve to the left and
consuming a central angle of 43°20'30" an arc distance of 30.26 feet to a
point of reverse curvature; thence, northeasterly along the arc of a curve to
the right having a radius of 15.00 feet and consuming a central angle of
43°20'30"; an arc distance of 11.35 feet to a point on the line of tangency
thence, N0°24'49"E a distance of 37.75 feet; thence, S89°11'55"E a distance of
