AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
ADDING A NEW SECTION 8.64.030(15) TO THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF
76TH AVENUE WEST FROM 242ND STREET SOUTHWEST TO
244TH STREET SOUTHWEST.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Traffic Engineer
have determined that it is in the best interest of the
public health, safety and general welfare to prohibit parking
on 76th Avenue West from 242nd Street Southwest to 244th
Street Southwest, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Section 8.64.030(15) is hereby
added to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
"15. Both sides of 76th Avenue West from 242nd
Street Southwest to 244th Street Southwest.
Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby author-
ized and instructed to erect signs notifying the public of
the parking restrictions imposed by this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five days after passage by publication by posting
as provided by law.
