WASHINGTON, APPROVING A CHANGE IN ZONING FOR
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8609, 8611, AND
8615 244 TH STREET SW FROM SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL (RS-8) TO MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL (RM-

WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council voted to adopt the recommendation of the
Planning Board, finding that the proposed rezone is in the public interest and satisfies all
applicable criteria of the Edmon s Community Development Code; NOW, THEREFORE,
Section 1. For its findings in support of the rezone effected by this ordinance, the City
Council adopts by reference the Planning Division Advisory Report, Findings, Conclusions, and
Recommendations for the Planning Board meeting of October 10, 2012 (File No. R-2012-29), A
copy of the advisory report was included in the proceedings before the City Council. The City
Council further adopts by reference as additional findings the above recitals and the minutes of
the Planning Board's October 10, 2012 public hearing, a copy of which was also included in the
proceedings before the City Council.
Section 2. That certain real Property located at 8609, 8611 , and 8615 244t Street SW,
Edmonds, Washington, and legally described on Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and
