The Council met in.regular session with Mayor Fourtner presiding. The roll
call showed the following councilmen present McGibbon, Tucker., McGinness,
Siefert, Clausen and - Maxwell.
The water collectors report was read. A motion was made by Councilman Max-
we.l.l.and seconded by councilman Siefert that the bills which were approved
bythe finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn on the proper funds.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Clausen .
that the PexpontyheE,property purchased from Chas. Brown in the amount of $3:47
be paid. Motion carried.
This was the date set for the hearing on. Assessment Roll for L. I. D. J-61.
Threee written protests were read. After some discussion a motion was made
by Councilman Clausen and seconded by councilman Siefert that the assessment
roll be approved and turned over to the Treasurer for collection. MOTIOn
carried.

Mr. Hall asked for permission to install a gas tank and pump, on the property
line,e�A thei.Sehooleptgperty, on.Glen streets A motion was made by councilman
McGibbon and seconded by councilman Tucker that the school District be given
this permission with the understanding that any time improvement are made
on the street, the school must move the-pLunp, and any damage done to the City
property to be paid for by the school. Motion carried.
April 6 was set for the date of hearing on Assessment roll #60.
A motion was made by Councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Tucker
that the signs which were placed near the High School on a 3o day trial_,
for no parking be made permanent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Councilman Clausen and seconded by councilman McGinness
that the Engineer prepare a call for bids on a grovel packed well on Main
Street. Motion carried.
A written petition signed.by all the councilman was presented to the Mayor.
The Council asked for the separation of the street and water departments,
also for a change in superintendent. Mayor Fourtner appointed Mr. Shirley
for Supt. of -street dept. and Londerville Supt.-of the water dept. both
on a salary of 0225 per month, and Mr. Coulter asst. on the street dept.
at $200 per month, Mr. MoZeever to work on the water dept. for two weeks
and two weeks vacation, to receive $200-for the Month of March.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.

The Council met in regular session with mayor Pourtner presiding. The roll
call showed all councilman present. The Treasurers report was read. A letter
was read from the Secretary of the Library Board in which they ask for the
approval by the Council, of Mrs Hunziker for a five year term on the board.
Mayor Fourtner appointed Mrs. Hunziker on the library board. 'A motion was
made byeCouncilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Maxwell that the
appointment be approved.' Motion carried.'
Ordinance No. 5.80 for the approvinand confirming the assessment roll for
L. I. D. 61 was read to the council.

Maxwell and seconded by councilman McGibbon that this ordinance be published
and adopted. Motion carried.
Councilman McGinness reported that the street committee had a meeting. He
stated that the black -top streets were the first on the list for maintenance
and the repair.of broken curbs and sidewalks. He also stated a road main-
tainer had been demonstrated. L motion was made by councilman Mcginness
and s-econi,ed by Councilman Siefert that the coynoil call for bids on a
three ton hydraulic road maintainer with loading and bulldozing attaelIhments
to be purchased on cash or terms. Passed'by a unaminous vote of the council.
A�inotion was made by oouncilman Waggoner and seconded by councilman Siefert
that the city pay the light bill at the city park. Motion carried.
Councilman Waggoner reported that the addition to the caretaker house had
been completed thd.a septic tank had been installed, and the ball field was
being put in shape for this.summer, also some play equipment was here.
