The Council met for its• regular session with Mayor McGibbon presiding.. The
roll call showed the following Councilman prevent Tuson, Kincaid, Maxwell
and McGinness.
A letter was read from postmaster Otto Sorensen asking for permission to
place•a collection box on -the Northeast corner -of ninth and Maple streets,
this was made a motion by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman
maxwell. Motion carried.
A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Kincaid
that the hearing on assessment roll #71 be set for December 22. Motion carried.
A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by•councilman Maxwell
that the attorney draw an amendment to the ordinance for salaries for two
street employees at $280 per month, for the rest of this y"ear. -Motion-carried.
A motion was made by councilman.McGinness and seconded by,councilman Tuson
that the sewer installation as requested by Mr. Ericksen be authorized.

A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Maxwell
that the two bills for labor on the water and the two bills for street labor
be paid. Motion carried.
A motion was made by councilman.Maxwell and seconded by councilman Tuson that
the bill from Fowler Asphalt Paving Co., in the amount of $2043.99 by issuing
warrants number 84 and 85, also the bill from Washington Asphalt Paving Co.,
in the amount 9f $8557.12, by issuing warrants no. 86 thru 93 inclusive, be

that December 15 meeting night be set for a hearing for a proposed sewer
east of fifth avenue and south of Walnut., Motion carried.•

The safety committee recommended that Maple street be made an arterial
from 9th to sixth, and sixth avenue be an arterial from Walnut to Main and
from Main to Glen street, by a motion made by councilman Maxwell with a . -
second by councilman McGinness that it be adopted and posted. Motion carried.

The Council met for its regular sessionwith Mayor McGibbon persiding. The roll
call showed the following councilmen present Tuson, Kincaid, Maxwell Bishop and
McGinness.
The Water collectors and treasurers reports were read to the Council.
A-letterwas r.edd from Aubrey Engels councilman from second ward tendering his
resignation.A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman
McGinness that the council assept the resignation of Aubrey Engels. Motion carried.

accepted. Motion carried.
Mayor McGibbon nominated Louis Talen for councilman of First ward until the next
City election to fill the vacancy. A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and
seconded by councilman Tuson- that the Council accept the appointment. Motion carried.
A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman -Kincaid that
Al Kincaid be appointed As councilman for the second ward until the next city
election. Motion carried.
