Regular meeting was called to order by Mayor Maxwell with all councilman present except
Harrison.
Bids were opened for the construction of LID #104, Sewers - Grandview and vicinity -
Manor Construction Co. $79242.95
Bert Robison 8,894.50
Hale Construction Co. 5,519.00
B & E Construction Co. 9,919.25
Shoreline Construction Co. 7,537.00
Stadler Construction 6,542.00
Murphy Bros. 10,635.00
Motion was made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Slye that award of bid be delayed
until the attorney could acquire certain easements and that all certified checks be returned
except to the low bidder. Motion carried.
Hearing was held on the final assessement roll on LID #102, there were no written or verbal
protests. A motion was made by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Lambe that Ord.
860 be passed, approving and confirming the assessment roll on LID #102. Motion carried.
• Motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Tuson that the matter of
the Woodway Petition be tabled indefinitely. Roll call vote was as follows:
Lambe - Yes Simpson - Yes
Tuson - Yes Sorenson - Yes
Christensen - Yes Slye - No Motion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Tuson, Seconded by Councilman Simpson that Ord. 861 be passed
providing for the issuance and sale of the general obligation bonds in connection with the
Civic Center and new fire station. Motion was passed by unanimous vote of the Council.

be passed. Motion carried. (Asking other cities to ban the sale of fireworks)

approve a contract relating to the employment of a professional planner, Clark Colman
and Associates. Motion carried.

claim deed and pay the necessary costs so that the Bertha Haggard property could be
dedicated to the city. Motion carried.
