ORDINANCE NO, 800
AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON, HERETOFORE DEDICATED FOR STREET
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,•: the owners of +he private property abutting on the property
in the City of Edmondsiereinafter described, duly filed petition with the City
Council of the City of Edmonds, praying for vacation of the said property, on the
17th day of November, 1959, and
WHEREAS, the said Council of the said City did, by resolution duly
adopted or. the 17th day of November, 1959, set the 15th day of December, 1959,
at the hour of 8:00 P . M. of said'day, for the hearing and determination on said
petition, and
VTHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of hearing and
the determination on said petition has been -duly given by the City Clerk as required
by law, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Counr..i1 that the said petition should
be granted, and the said City Council does hereby determine to vacate the said
property, hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS;
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
•Sep ction 1: That certain property, located in the City of Edmonds,
County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows, to -wit:
The South 1$ feet of the West 15i.74. eet of Melody Lane, said
15 feet being the South '_ 5 feet of that: ortion of Melody Lane
adjacent to Lot 12, Haggards Sound tew Addition, as recorded
in records of S-ohomish County, WAlhutgtan;
SUBJECT to retention by the City of Edmonds of an easement
for roadway purposes over that portion thereof described as
follows:
The South 15 feet of the West 163.74 feet of Melody Lane, LESS
the South 10 feet of the East 101.74 feet thereof.,
be and the same is hereby vacated, and the title to the land in the property herein-
