Resolution 010RESOLUTION NO. I C OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS. WHEREB, certain property is proposed for annexation to the City of Edmonds, effective December 16, 1958, and is in need of zoning, and WHERE., the public hearing on the proposed zoning of the said property hereinafter identified, was held on December 15, 1958, after proper notice was given by posting and publication as required by law, and WHERE, the zoning of the said property will require an addition to the official zoning map of Edmonds, Washington, dated December 3, 1957, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the planning commission of the City of Edmonds hereby recommends the adoption of that certain map dated December 15, 1958, file No. Lj zoning the said property as R8, three copies of which map are attached hereto and made a part hereof, and three copies of which map shall be attached to the official zoning plan and official zoning map of the City of Edmonds and made a part thereof. That the property to be so zoned is described as follows: Lots two (2) through eight (8), inclusive, plat of Cherry Lane, according to plat thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington. That the reasons for zoning the addition as recommended are as fol- lows: 1. That the property identified on said map is all residential and all of the property in the adjacent area which is already in the City of Edmonds is zoned residential; that the immediately contiguous area in the County of Snohomish is also zoned residential with the same lot size and area, approximately, as R-8. 2. That the people who attended the public hearing for the proposed zoning of the said addition to the City of Edmonds were all in favor of the zoning as we recommended by the Planning Commission on the said maps hereto attached. 3. That the said addition., if zoned - as recommended, will be in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use in the City of Edmonds. DAD this WAkdayaf December, 1958. OC r. 1958 Z, 5(o5-Q RESOLUTION NO. 140 WHEREAS, .it appears to the Planning Commission that an unnamed street, running from Olympic (or Eleventh) Avenue easterly to a point on Twelfth Avenue approximately 1850 feet north of Main Street, between Main Street on the south and Puget Drive (196th S. W.) on the north, should be included in and made a part of the general comprehensive plan for street development in the City of Edmonds, and WHEREAS, October 20th was regularly set as a public hearing for the pro- jection of the said unnamed street, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that such a street should be in- cluded in our comprehensive planning for street development according to the map herein, NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds_ hereby recommends to the Edmonds City Council that the un- named street lying approximately 1850 feet north of Main Street between Olympic (or Eleventh) Avenue on the West and Twelfth Avenue on the East, be projected as a part of our general comprehensive plan for street development, as shown on that certain Addition to the Official Street Map of the City of Edmonds dated October 20, 1958 (File No. 8. 27), three copies of which are hereto attached and made a part hereof, and three copies of which shall be attached to the Addition to the City Code relating to a comprehensive plan for said development, and made a part thereof.
