A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF OFFICIAL MAP "A" (DESIGNATED THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) AND OFFICIAL MAP "B" OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-6 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-6A (MULTIPLE RESI-
DENTIAL) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-8-64.
WHEREAS the 17th day of June, 1964, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and
time set for public hearing to amend the Zoning Code and Official Maps of
the City of Edmonds by rezoning from R-6 (Single Family Residential) to R-6A
(Multiple Residential) property legally described as:
The North 65 feet of Lot 15, Willowdale Gardens Division No. 1.
All in Section 19, Township 27, Range 4 E.W.M. Snohomish County,
Washington; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to
consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publi-
cation had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding
neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of R-6A, Multiple
Residential, is the most consistent with the advantageous development and
appropriate use of said property and the health, safety, morals and
general welfare of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City
of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City @duneil of said City that
the above described property be zoned R-6A and that Official Map "A" (Designated
the Comprehensive Plan) of the City of Edmonds be so amended by adding thereto
Engineer's Drawing No.,+& Y 2-; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds
that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that Official
Map "B" (designated Zoning Map) of the City of Edmonds be so amended by
adding thereto Engineer's Drawing No. - 2jj— .
