Resolution 108PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 108 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RML (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY) TO BC (COMMUNITY BUSINESS) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-14-64. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 17th day of February, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning to CG (General Commercial) that portion of the property legally described below which is presently zoned RML(Multiple Residential Low Density) (approximately the ?nest 180 ft.): The South 2 acres of the North 1/2 SE 1/4, SE 1/4, SE 1/4 West of U.S. Highway 99, and the North 75 feet of the South 1/2, SE 1/4 SE 1/4, SE 1/4 West of U.S. Highway 99, all in Section 30, Township 27 North, Range 4 E., W. M.; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of BC (Community Business), rather than CG (General Commercial), is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate use of said property and the health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the public; and WHEREAS, petitioners forzezone agreed to accept a higher zoning classification than that requested; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the above described property be zoned BC and that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be so amended by adding thereto Engineer's Drawing No. 1-232/28 DATED this Z-7 �s'... day of February, 1965.
