RESOLUTION NO. 114
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY CREATING A NEW ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF "IP (INDUSTRIAL
PARK DISTRICTS)", IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ZO-8-65.

WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965 at 8:00 p.m., was the date and
time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Edmonds by creating a new zoning -classification of "IP (Industrial Park
Districts)"; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said hearing to
consider said amendment, it appeared that proper notice and publication had
been effected and three copies of the new zoning classification had been filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for use and examination by the
public; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted extensive study of
the proposed IP Classification and consulted the firm of Reid -Middleton &
Associates, Inc. in preparation of same; and
WHEREAS, expressions from the public regarding the proposed amendment
have been considered; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has resolved that the Comprehensive
plan be amended to include the Industrial Park Supplement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the
City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City
that the Official Zoning Ordinance be amended to include a new zoning classifi-
cation of "IP (Industrial Park Districts)"; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the requirement for a Conditional Use
Permit for Service Stations be deleted from the zone.
