Resolution 1150 9 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 115 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY DESIGNATING AS COMMERCIAL THAT AREA SOUTH OF DAYTON STREET, EAST OF ADMIRAL WAY, AND WEST OF 2ND AVENUE SHOWN THEREON, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-3-65. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds by designating as Commercial that area south of Dayton Street, east of Admiral Way, and west of 2nd Avenue shown thereon to include the following legally described property: All that portion of the SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Sec. 23, T27N, R3E, W.M., described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of 2nd Ave. 60 ft. W. of the SW corner of Lot 9, Neil's Addition, according to plat thereof recorded in Vol. 16 of plats, Page 23, records of Snohomish County, Wash., said point being on the N. line of a tract of land conveyed to Mauritz A. Wickstrom and Eunice Wickstrom, his wife, by deed recorded under auditor's file No. 1348151, thence S. 89042' W along the north line of said Wickstrom tract 245.65 ft., more or less, to the west line of said SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of SE 1/4; thence N. 0007' west along said West line 298.88 ft; thence N. 8904313011 east to a point on the west line of 2nd Ave. as shown on the plat of said Neil's Addition, which point is 368 feet west of the west line of Third Sti; thence south along the west line of 2nd St. to the point of beginning; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider said amendment, it appeared that proper notice and publica- tion had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was determined that long-range planning for such area would best be served by recommending that the proposed amendment be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds be amended to designate as Commercial that area south of Dayton Street, east of Admiral Way, and west of 2nd Avenue, as legally described above.
