Resolution 116PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 116 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE DENIAL OF THE PETITION TO REZONE FROM RS-6 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO RML (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-12-65. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., and the same was carried over to a recessed meeting on May 26, 1965, was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from RS-6 (Single Family Residential) to RML (Multiple Residential Low Density) certain property located on 3rd Avenue South, south of Alder Street, and legally described as: The North 67 feet of the South 230.5 feet of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 less Streets of Section 23, Township 27 N, Range 3 E, W.M., EXCEPT that portion presently zoned RML; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publica- tion had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appeared that zoning classification RML would not be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the petition to rezone the herein described property from RS-6 to RML be denied.
