Resolution 117• PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 117 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM CW (WATERFRONT COMMERCIAL) TO IP (INDUSTRIAL PARK) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-3-65. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., and the same was carried over to a recessed meeting on May 26, 1965, was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from CW (Waterfront Commercial) to IP (Industrial Park) the property legally described as: That portion of Lot 3, Section 23, Township 27 North, Range 3 East W.M., lying East of the Great Northern Railway Company right-of-way and South of Dayton Street, in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publica- tion had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of IP is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate use of said property and the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public; BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be so amended by designating the property legally described above IP (Industrial Park).
