RESOLUTION No. 118
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RMH (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY)
TO BN (BRIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS) THAT CKiiTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE NO, R-2-65.
WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:90 p.m. (and the same was
carried over to a recessed meeting on May 26, 1965) was the date and time
set for public hearing to emend the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Edmonds by rezoning from RMH (Multiple Residential High Density) to
IP (Industrial Park District) the property legally described as:
All that portion of the SW Quarter of SE quarter of SE quarter
of Section 23, Township 27N, Ran Ere 3E., W.M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the W. line of 2nd Ave., 60 feet W. of
the SW corner of Lot 9, Neil's Addition, according to plat
thereof recorded in Vol. 16 of plats, Page 23, records of
Snohomish County, Wash., said point being on the N. line of
a tract of land conveyed to Mauritz A. Wickstrom and Eunice
Wickstrom, his wife, by deed recorded under auditor's file
No. 1348151, thence S 89042' West along the N. line of said
Wickstrom tract 245.65 feet, more or less, to the west line of
said Southwest quarter of SE quarter of SE quarter, thence
North 0007' West along said west line 298.88 feet; thence
North 89043'30" East to a point on the West line of 2nd
Avenue as shown on the plat of said Neil's Addition, which
point is 368 feet west of the West line of Third Street;
thence South along the West line of 2nd Itreet to the point
of beginning. Situated in Snohomish County, Washington; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date Fixed for said public hearing to
consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publi-
cation had been effected; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing the applicant moved that the application be
amended to request a BN (Neighborhood Business) classification, and after
due consideration of present existing, use and surrounding neighborhood
zoning, it appears that zoning classification of BN is the most consistent
with the advantageous development and appropriate use of said property and
the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the
City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said

City that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be so amended by
designating the property legally described above BN.
