RESOLUTION NO. 119
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS BY DESIGNATING AS "COMMERCIAL" THE WEST SIDE OF FIFTH
AVE. SO. FROM WALNUT STREET TO ERBEN DRIVE, AND THE EAST SIDE OF FIFTH AVE.
SO. FROM WALNUT STREET TO HOWELL WAY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION
FILE NO. CP-5-65.

WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., and the same was
carried over to a recessed meeting on May 26, 1965, was the date and time
set for public hearing to amend the Comprehensive Plan of the City of
Edmonds by designating as "Commercial" the west side of Fifth Ave. So.
from Walnut St. to Erben Drive, and the east side of Fifth Ave. So. from
Walnut St. to Howell Way; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to
consider said amendment, it appeared that proper notice and publication
had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was
determined that long-range planning for such area would be the most
consistent and advantageous for the development of the area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the
City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said
City that the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds be amended to
emeezed designate as "Commercial" the west side of Fifth Ave. So. from
Walnut St. to Erben Drive, and the east side of Fifth Ave. So. from
Walnut St. to Howell Way.
