RESOLUTION NO. 125
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RS-12 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO
RS-6 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE NO. R-7-65.

WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and
time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Edmonds by rezoning from RS-12 (Single Family Residential) to RS-6
(Single Family Residential) the property legally described as:
A portion of Lot 16, Puget Sound Machinery Depot Five -Acre
Tracts, and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Block 1, Riley Park; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to
consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publica-
tion had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and
surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of
RS-6 is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate
use of said property and the health, safety, morals and general welfare of
the public;
BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that
recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official
Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be so amended by designating the
property legally described above RS-6 (Single Family Residential).
