Resolution 126PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 126 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RMH (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY) TO RD (RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-9-65. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from RMH (Multiple Residential High Density) to RD (Residential Duplex) the property legally described as: The East 163' more or less of Tract 3, Lake McAleer Five Acre Tracts, Section 31, T27N, R4E, W.M.; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after considering the evidence submitted at the public hearing, the area proposed for amendment was reduced as follows: All that portion of Tract 3, Lake McAleer Five Acre Tracts, described as follows: The east 163' of the south 1/2 plus the east 101.58 ft. of the north 1/2, said tract being located in Sec. 31, T27N, R4E, W.M., Snohomish County, Washington; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of RD is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate use of said property as newly described and the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public; Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be amended by designating as RD (Residential Duplex) the property legally described eve as amended. k DATED this day of 1965.
