RESOLUTION NO. 127
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RML (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY)
TO BC (COMMUNITY BUSINESS) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE NO. R-10-65.

WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date
and time set for public hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map of the
City of Edmonds by rezoning from RML (Multiple Residential Low Density)
to BC (Community Business) the property legally described as:
The East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of
Section 29, Township 27 North, Range 4 East, W.M., less
City and State right-of-way and less area zoned commercial
indicated on City of Edmonds Official Zoning Map adopted
October 20, 1964 by Ordinance No. 1074; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to
consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publica-
tion had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and
surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of
BC is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate
use of said property and the health, safety, morals and general welfare of
the public;
BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds
that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be so amended by designating
the property legally described above BC (Community Business).
