Resolution 132i• • 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 132 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE DENIAL OF THE PETITION TO REZONE FROM RMH (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY) AND RD (RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX) TO CG (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-17-65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 15th day of September, 1965, at 8:00 p.m. was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from RMH (Multiple Residential High Density) and RD (Residential Duplex) to CG (General Commercial) certain property located on 240th Ave. S. W., beginning approximately 475 feet east of Highway 99, and running south to 242nd S. W., and legally described as: The East 163 feet of Lot 3, Lake McAleer Five Acre Tracts, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 5 of plats, page 48, records of Snohomish County, Washington; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of CG would not be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the petition to rezone the herein described property from RMH and RD to CG be denied.
