Resolution 1330 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 133 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE DENIAL OF PETITION TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP BY DESIGNATING AS COMMERCIAL CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-9-65. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 15th day of September, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Comprehensive Plan Map by designating as Commercial the following legally described property: All that portion of Lot 1 lying East of Primary State Highway No. 1, together with Lots 2 and 3, Lake McAleer Five Acre Tracts, according to Plat thereof recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, Page 48, records of Snohomish County, Washington; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider said amendment, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after considering such factors as the uncertainty of the pro- posed freeway access, it was deemed in the best interests of the public health, safety, and welfare of the community that the Comprehensive Plan Map not be amended as proposed at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the petition to amend the Comprehensive Plan by designating as Commercial that property legally described herein above be denied.
