Resolution 136C� 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 136 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING FROM RML (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY) TO BC (COMMUNITY BUSINESS) THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-18-65. WHEREAS, the 15th day of September, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by reznning from RML (Multiple Residential Low Density) to CG (General Commercial) a portion of the property commonly known as 22524 - Highway 99, said portion being legally described as: The West 180' of the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30, Township 27N, Range 4 E, W.M., less the West 30' for City Street; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said hearing to consider the amendment outlined above, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, including consideration of the fact that the property in question is under the same ownership as that zoned CG to the east, it was deter- mined that zoning of BC (Community Business) rather than CG (General Commercial) would be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property at this time and the health, welfare, and safety of the public; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds be amended by rezoning the property legally described above from RML (Multiple Residential Low Density) to BC (Community Business).
