RESOLUTION NO. 139
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, ORDINANCE NO. 10749 SECTION 12.14.060, GENERAL REQUIREMENTS,
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, BY REVISING THE AREA REQUIREMENTS RELATING THERETO,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ZO-13-65.

WHEREAS, the 15th day of September, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and
time set for public hearing to consider the amendment of the Official Zoning
Ordinance, Section 12.14.060, General Requirements, Planned Unit Development,
by revising the area requirements relating thereto; and
WHEREAS, the regular meeting of the Planning Commission of September 15,
1965 was recessed to the 22nd day of September, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., at which
time said hearing was actually held; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said hearing, it appeared that
proper notice and publication had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was determined
that an area requirement minimum of 10 acres instead of the presently required
20 acres would provide a more equitable and practical development of the City
of Edmonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that Section
12.14.060 of the Edmonds City Code be amended by requiring a minimum of 10 acres
for development of all Planned Unit Developments.
