RESOLUTION NO. 144
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE DENIAL OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL
ZONING ORDINANCE, SECTION 13.13.110, BY PERMITTING MOBILE HOME PARKS IN RM
ZONES AS A PRIMARY USE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ZO-4-65.

WHEREAS, by motion, the City Council of the City of Edmonds requested the
Planning Commission to study and hold public hearings for a recommendation to
the City Council on whether the Multiple Residential (RM) Zone should include
mobile homes, excluding trailer parks; and
at 8:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, the 18th day of August, 1965/was set as the date and time for
public hearing to consider the amendment of the Official Zoning Ordinance,
Ordinance No. 1074, Section 13.13.110, by permitting Mobile Home Parks in RM
zones as a primary use; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said hearing, it appeared that
proper notice and publication had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment on the above date
and in subsequent hearings on the 22nd day of September, 1965 and the 20th day
of October, 1965, it was determined by the Planning Commission that such an
amendment would not be in the best interests of the citizens of Edmonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the
proposed amendment to Section 13.13.110 of the Edmonds City Code to permit Mobile
Home Parks in RM zones as a primary use be denied.
