Resolution 1640 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 164 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY BY REZONING FROM RS-20 TO RS-12 THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-4-66. WHEREAS, the 16th day of March, 1966, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from RS-20 (Single Residential 20,000 Sq. Ft.) to RS-12 (Single Residential 12,000 Sq. Ft.) certain property commonly known as being located on 164th S.W., west of 72nd Ave. W., and legally described as follows: The West Half of Tract 86, Plat of Meadowdale Beach; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of gesent existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it was deemed that in the interest of the public health, safety, and welfare, zoning classification of RS-12 would be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the petition to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from RS-20 to RS-12 the property described herein be approved, and said Zoning Map be so amended.
