RESOLUTION NO. 169
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE
DENIAL OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY DESIGNATING AS
"MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL" THE AREA FROM DAYTON TO WALNUT STREETS AND FROM
SIXTH TO SEVENTH AVENUES, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO.
CP-7-66.
WHEREAS, the 20th day of April, 1966, at 8.00 p.m., was the date and time
set for public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan
Map of the City of Edmonds by designating as "Multi -Family Residential'
the property legally described as:
All of Block Nos. 94, 96 and 96, City of Edmonds, Wash., commonly
described as that area bordered by Dayton Street to the north,
Walnut Street to the south, 6th Ave. So. to the west, and 7th Ave.
So. to the east; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared
that proper notice and publication had been effected; and
WHEREAS„ after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was
determined that designation of "Multi -Family Residential" on said property
would not be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate
use of said property at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the.
Official Comprehensive Plan not be amended as proposed herein.
