Resolution 175PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 175 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE AMENDMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY DESIGNATING AS "SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL" THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-8-66. WHEREAS, the 15th day of June, 1966, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map of the City of Edmonds by designating as "Single Family Residential" all that property located on the west side of Second Avenue North from Bell to Edmonds Streets, legally described as: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Block 11, Plat of Edmonds; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, and consider- ation of a petition with the signatures of nineteen (19) property owners in the subject vicinity requesting said amendment, it was determined that designation of "Single Family Residential" on said property rather than the present desig- nation of "Multi -Family Residential" would be more consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property in the interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the City of Edmonds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official Comprehensive Plan Map of the City of Edmonds be amended by designating as "Single Family Residential" the property herein legally described.
