Resolution 187PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 187 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP TO DESIGNATE AS "COMMERCIAL" CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-17-66. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 19th day of October, 1966, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map of the City of Edmonds by designating as "Commercial" the property legally described as: Lots 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, Block 3, Westgate Park Division No. 1, Section 36, T27N, Range 3 E, W.M., per plat recorded in Volume 13 of Plats, Page 31, records of Snohomish County, Washington; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, and existing and proposed use of the property involved, as well as existing and proposed use of the surrounding property, it was determined that a designation of "Commercial" would be consistent with the most advantageous development and appropriate use of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the Official Comprehensive Plan Map of the City of Edmonds be amended to designate as "Commercial" the property described herein.
